SVP, SALES & MARKETING - NORTH AMERICAN BANCARD 

CAN BE REMOTE ROLE IN US

The Senior Vice President (SVP), Sales & Marketing develops and directs all internal and external sales and marketing activities for NAB.   You are responsible for engineering growth strategies with new and existing customers, and directly supporting the investments in sales force effectiveness.  In addition, you will manage functions essential to sales force productivity including planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales program implementation, and recruiting and selection of sales talent. The SVP of Sales & Marketing is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of sales and marketing within the organization.

 

 

What else you will be doing:

  • Grows sales and profitability by prioritizing and capturing new customers and growing and maintaining revenues with existing customers. Conducts market research into the established and potential markets that are served or could be served by the company and creates an action plan for achieving new business
  • Ensures that a knowledgeable and aggressive sales force is available to efficiently carry out the sales and marketing strategy that has been developed and approved for action, insuring the necessary growth targets are attained.
  • Plans and conducts efficient and effective sales and marketing meetings as required.
  • Plans and recommends sales incentive programs that are cost effective and produce increased sales and profitability.
  • Monitors the results obtained from any incentive program and reports findings.
  • Works closely with Customer Service, Risk, Compliance and other leaders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • In conjunction with executive management, establishes sales and marketing objectives including but not limited to sales and profit levels, market penetration, market share growth, sales force requirements, agent sales and marketing programs , initiative/support programs for new agent recruitment.
  • Operates the Sales and Marketing departments within budget guidelines
  • In conjunction with executive management and The Pricing Committee, develops and implements efficient and profitable pricing.
  • Develops metrically driven sales priorities and tracks within the existing systems.
  • Designs, implements, and manages sales, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Provides leadership to the sales organization, and counsel to the management team in implementing sales organization objectives that reflect business goals.
  • Responsible for equitably assigning sales force quotas and ensuring financial objectives are optimally allocated to all NAB sales employees
  • Other assignments as determined by leadership.

Job Requirements

 

What we need from you:

  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution; Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum ten years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Minimum of five years in a sales operations, business planning, or sales support management role.
  • Experience successfully managing to metrics and analytics.
  • Experience in the payments industry a plus.
