Job Description


The Product Support Specialist will be responsible for terminal setup, configuration testing and post-roll out support across multiple terminal platforms. When an issue is identified the Product team member will be responsible for documenting and describing the issues and work with the appropriate team to get it resolved.


What else you will be doing:

  • Own terminal setup, configuration, testing, deployment and training
  • Be the primary contact for post deployment support end-to-end
  • Build relationship and contacts with 3rd party software partners and other support entities
  • Develop and maintain test scenarios, scripts and test plans
  • Detect software/hardware quality issues, report and track them to resolution
  • Participate in the testing of production bug fixes
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and other participating teams to understand and validate configuration settings to ensure optimal product performance for production environment
  • Support implementation team activities related to POS hardware and partner integrations
  • Maintain documentation, process improvement and other key activates to ensure training of internal and external customers are services accordingly

Job Requirements


What we need from you:

  • 2+ years experience with Terminal support and trouble shooting
  • Experience with payment processing POS  (Global, First Data etc.)
  • Experience with multiple POS terminal platforms and solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field from accredited University or College (or equivalent years of experience)
