Job Summary:
Velocity, a subsidiary of North American Bancard, LLC, is looking for two application support specialists (integration specialists) to join the team in Denver, Colorado. Velocity is the omnichannel platform to an integrated system of payment and merchant services. Velocity turns the complex simple by providing software developers and businesses with secure and customizable payment solutions. 

The integration specialists will be responsible for merchant integration and advanced helpdesk support. Responsible for assisting in the maintenance of merchant integration documentation and researching data flows for new platform functionality.

What you will be doing:

  • Merchant Integration: Maintain new merchant setup tracking system, evaluate the merchant’s processing and business practices to instruct them how to interface with our system, provide high-level merchant programming support, coordinate merchant compliance certification with Risk Management and evaluate and merchant testing before releasing to production.
  • Advanced Helpdesk / Technical Support: Provide advanced helpdesk support for merchants processing on the Velocity platform and assist Sales and other business areas with technical support for potential merchants and strategic alliances.
  • Technical Documentation: Assist in maintaining and updating Velocity integration and software guides and assist in documenting Velocity processing systems.
  • Research: Research, develop and provide data flow for internal and external file formats and business requirements for requests to the IT Department, assist in design of new processes and services for viability and business requirements, develop workflows for new processes and perform technical research for IT and other areas of the business.
  • Help the merchant/ISV complete technical task with regards to an integration.
  • Must be able to trouble shoot problems as they occur with testing and integration.
  • Critical skill to be able to understand an ISV’s architecture and create the plan to use our technology to enable integration.

Job Requirements

What we need from you: 

  • Knowledge of programming languages is preferred, i.e. .NET, C#, C++, Java, ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript.
  • Customer service experience. 
  • Ability to work well as a team member.
  • Ability to develop a complete understanding of the Velocity back-end structure.
  • Knowledge of ACH and credit card processing is helpful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

It would be a plus if you had: 

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Credit Card or POS processing and EMV requirements is preferred.
