As our HRIS/Compensation coordinator, you will assume accountability for the employee records and data entry functions in the HRIS. You will also assist in the development, execution, maintenance and revision of compensation structures, programs and systems.  

What you will be doing: 

  • Perform data entry of new hires and employee changes into HRIS ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Set up and maintain comprehensive employee records and files.
  • Provide HRIS navigation training to HR personnel and ensure new or revised procedures are implemented.  
  • Assist Compensation team with the Point in Time program
  • Assist HRIS in the maintenance of assigned computer applications (e.g., patches).
  • Perform audits to ensure accuracy of database information, and analyze existing reports & processes to make recommendations for improvements. 
  • Provide input to the development of comprehensive policies, procedures, manuals and training materials.  
  • Troubleshoot and provide support to local users. 
  • Assist in completing and submitting salary surveys and utilizing the results to develop and update external salary offers, salary structures, equity studies, sales compensation programs, etc.  
  • Provide compensation analysis, ad hoc market pricing support and data management support.  

Job Requirements

What we need from you: 

  • Prior experience with data entry and running reports in an HRIS (or similar system).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (G-suite applications) .
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and work well in a team environment.
  • Analytical ability to gather and interpret data, to identify discrepancies, problems or issues, to obtain advice when precedents are unclear or unavailable and to determine methods for ensuring compliance with functional/organizational/service policies and procedures.
  • Written and verbal communication skills along with interpersonal skills to interact independently and effectively with all levels of internal and some external customers/stakeholders to discuss primarily factual information, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies, records procedures and information system.  
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service skills and follow thru on commitments.

It would be a plus if you had: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related work experience.
  • Prior experience using, navigating and performing basic reporting functions within a HRIS
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
