Job Description

Point in Pay, a subsidiary of North American Bancard, LLC, is in need of a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the team in Oldsmar, FL. 

Point & Pay designs, builds, and integrates unique payment solutions for governments, utilities, courts, and more. Our efficient, flexible systems enable clients to accept card payments or e-Checks in their offices, via toll-free telephone or Internet, 24 hours a day, seven days a week

As a member of Point & Pay's QA team, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans and automated scripts to verify the cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility of the software delivered by our development team.  Team members will look for functional, logical and visual / UI defects, as part of a thorough vetting process prior to user acceptance.  You will then be responsible for documenting and describing the issues.

What you will be doing: 

  • Perform Functional and Regression testing.
  • Develop and maintain test scenarios, scripts and test plans.
  • Detect software quality issues, report and track them to resolution.
  • Participate in the testing of production bug fixes.
  • Help establishing automation (Regression) test strategies and requirements, planning and procedures.
  • Proactively come up with innovative methods to constantly improve quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage thru automation for projects.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and other participating teams to understand and validate configuration settings to ensure optimal product performance for production environments.
  • Execute automation scripts as required for development and debugging efforts to ensure system performance and stability.
  • Assist in post-implementation, continuous improvement efforts to enhance systems and applications.
  • Identify product performance issues during new product development.
  • Perform on demand testing as requested.

Job Requirements

What we need from you:

  • BS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with QA and testing methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing system and application failures and bugs.
  • Experience in test automation preferred.
