NORTH AMERICAN BANCARD --Vice President, Product Management


The Vice President of Product Management is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Vice President of Products role also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

 Here are some of the responsibilities of this role:

  • Develop a deep knowledge and alignment of NAB’s product set to the corporate vision
  • Participate in the creation of (and when appropriate lead) Product Strategies, Vision and Value Propositions for NABH and entities 
  • Develop a strong understanding of market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
  • Manage the evolution of the product capabilities to scale
  • Re-imagine the product journey and drive the development of product features based on the understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive opportunities
  • Collaborate with commercialization and marketing resources to align product enhancements and communicate the feature benefits to drive sales and marketing collateral
  • Create entrepreneurial advances and utilization of NAB’s product assets
  • Lead beta and pilot programs with early-stage product, feature enhancements and samples
  • Collaborate with external third parties to assess, build and nurture partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all Departments, Managers, and Executives

Job Requirements

Here is what we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent industry experience required
  • A minimum of 7 years of proven product experience in developing and launching a product reqired
  • Minimum five (5) years’ management experience required
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ industry leadership experience which include P&L responsibility required
  • P & L knowledge and working in a cross-functional role across multiple entities required
  • Exceptional leadership skills required
  • Excellent understanding of the payments industry and its competitive landscape preferred
  • Product and process re-engineering skills to drive digital transformation of services into a software platform is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skillsrequired
  • Strong analytical skills, decision making and creative skills required
  • Ability to translate strategic vision into an executable plan
  • Excellent ability to motivate and energize others
  • Working knowledge with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications

This role will have direct reports and will require some travel.
